Al Qusais is split into residential blocks (Al Qusais 1, 2 and 3) and a large industrial area. The residential side has mid-rise apartment buildings, supermarkets, Al Mulla Plaza, Al Qusais Pond Park and several hospitals, and the Sharjah border is close by.

Shared rooms here are rented mostly by staff at Dubai Airport Free Zone, the airport and the industrial area, as well as by people working in Sharjah. Prices are a little below Al Nahda, and industrial-side rooms tend to be the cheapest.
