International City is a large low-rise community of country-themed clusters, such as China, England, France, Russia and Persia, next to Dragon Mart. Each cluster has ground-floor supermarkets, restaurants, clinics and laundries, so daily needs are close at hand.

It has the lowest starting prices for bed spaces among Dubai's established shared-housing areas. Renters are mainly workers and students on tight budgets, many of whom commute by bus to metro stations or work in nearby Dubai Silicon Oasis, Ras Al Khor and Al Warsan.

Getting around

There is no metro station yet; RTA buses link International City with Centrepoint station on the Red Line and other hubs.
International City bus station is near Dragon Mart.
The Blue Line, due to open in 2029, will add stations in International City, including an interchange at International City 1.
