Al Satwa is a compact neighbourhood of low-rise buildings and older villas, known for tailoring and fabric shops, small restaurants along Al Diyafah Street and a busy bus station. It sits between Sheikh Zayed Road, Jumeirah and City Walk, so much of central Dubai is a short ride away.
