Al Quoz combines residential blocks (Al Quoz 1, 2 and 4) with large industrial areas full of warehouses, workshops, showrooms and galleries. Alserkal Avenue has made it a centre for art and design, while Oasis Centre and Al Khail Mall serve everyday shopping.

Shared-room supply is small on Dubizzle, but bed-space prices are among the lowest in the city. Renters are mostly workers in the industrial zones and people employed along Sheikh Zayed Road who accept a bus or taxi to the metro.

Getting around

Onpassive, Equiti and Mall of the Emirates stations on the Red Line lie along Sheikh Zayed Road at the area's western edge.
Much of Al Quoz relies on RTA buses and taxis because the industrial blocks are a long walk from the metro.
Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road run along both sides of the district.
