Jumeirah Village Circle is a large, mostly residential community of mid-rise apartment buildings, townhouses and villas laid out in a circle around parks. It has one of Dubai's biggest pools of affordable short-stay studios and one-bedroom flats, many in newer buildings with pools and gyms.

It is a place to live like a resident rather than stay in a resort: supermarkets, cafés and Circle Mall are close by, and the beach and the Marina are around 20 minutes by car. Longer-stay guests, families and budget-conscious visitors are the typical market.

Getting around

There is no metro station yet; the nearest Red Line stations, such as Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens on the Route 2020 branch, are a short drive away.
RTA buses connect the community with Mall of the Emirates metro station.
The planned Dubai Metro Gold Line, approved in April 2026 and due in 2032, includes a JVC station.
DXB is about 25–30 minutes by car via Al Khail Road off-peak.

Is JVC a good choice without a car?

It is workable with taxis and buses, but there is no metro yet, so guests planning to travel across the city often rent a car. The Gold Line, due in 2032, will add a JVC station.

How far is JVC from the beach?

Around 15–16 km, or about 20 minutes by car to JBR or Al Sufouh beach off-peak.

Why are JVC rates lower than beach areas?
